The Dwarven pantheon is an amalgam of the Dwarven and Gnome
Gods from the AD&D book , Legends & Lore (1st Edition) and Unearthed
Arcana. If you don't have that book, or want to see the differences then
click on the god of your choice (Note: I do not possess the Priests Handbook
so the priest powers will be different to those suggested by TSR).
These dieties are not native to Guyendor and arrived with their followers
many years ago from a dieing world, along with the Gods of the Orcs. (See
Parma
en Serke for more details.)
The Gods - Dwarven
| Moradin |
Moradin rules the Dwarven pantheon with a fair but very firm
hand. |
| Clanggedin Silverbeard |
Clanggedin is the lord of battle, it is he who taught the Dwarves (and
Gnomes) how to fight and taught them the techniques to combat Giants. |
| Vergadin |
Vergadin has two main types of followers: Merchants and non-evil thieves.
He represents Wealth and Luck. |
| Dumathoin |
This God is said to be the Keeper of Secrets. This includes the where
the veins of metal ores can be found, and has become the defender of the
Mountain Dwarves. |
| Abbathor |
The Master of Greed cannot be trusted by any one, whether they be god
or mortal. He will never aid non-dwarven deities, and will often double
cross even them. |
| Berronar |
Berronar is the protector of the home and is the patron of love and
marriage. Her efforts to preserve Dwarven culture are legendary. |
The Gods - Gnomish
| Garl Glittergold |
Garls domain was originally gems, but since the divide of the Dwarves
he has taken on the role of Leader of the Gnomes. |
| Baervan Wildwanderer |
Gnomish thieves look to Baervan for guidance. He is a good natured,
mischievous character who tends the Forests of the Gnomes. |
| Urdlen |
Urdlen lusts for gold and precious metals. He represents the evil greed
that some Gnomes possess. |
| Segojan Earthcaller |
This God is the only one with links to nature in the 'Dwarven' Pantheon.
He is, therefore, the sole representative in the Druidic
community. |
| Flandal Steelskin |
Flandal is constantly searching for new metal ores so that he can create
magical items. He is The Forger and therefore looks after the gnomish desire
to manipulate metal. |
