Druids form religions on many worlds. Based on the celtic priests of nature, these usually pacific holy men form a brotherhood that spans most of the known religions on Guyendor.

It was decided long ago the priests of these Gods would form a coalition, and it was called 'The Druid Cult'. This cult brings together several of the races of Guyendor, and is the only known group that can live in harmony like this. Because of the long association between the different factions, common traits have evolved. The most obvious of these is the similarity in the range of spells that the priests of these deities possess. A point to note at this time is that the Druids do not have to be true neutral as in other worlds, but take on the alignment of their own God.

The heirarchy of this cult is given below, note that a Druids badge of honour is his staff and he (or she) must carry one of the right wood. Not to do so is tantamount to heresay.

The Grand Circle is made up of all those druids above 12th level (except Hierophants) and it these priests who guide the cult. But only few ever make it to these exalted positions due to the structure of the organisation. Within each of the 7 factions there can only be 9 priest with the title of Druid. These serve the 3 Archdruids who carry out the day to day running of the different groups. There is only 1 Greatdruid per God, who inturn serve the Granddruid. There can only be one of these powerful priests, and at the moment this title falls to an ancient elf in Eldamar. Hierophants are very few and far between, they represent the retired Granddruids. No-one knows just how many of these reclusive clerics there are, but a few usually appear in times of great need.
Not all the Gods of this cult have a full quota of the higher ranking Druids, the actual numbers are given under the specific Deity.

A sub-class of the Druid is the Ranger. Whilst still obeying many of the rules given in the players hand book for warriors (eg combat tables, saving throws etc.) Rangers are expected to abide by the rules layed down by the Druidic Cult. Any race able to become a Druid may also become a Ranger, thus enabling Gnomes & Halflings into this particular class. Rangers go through extensive training as warriors and are encouraged to travel a great deal through their training, but upon becoming 7th level the training changes to more mystic avenues. At this time they are seen as the protectors of the Sacred Groves and the Druids themselves, if you like they can be considered Natures army. As only a sub-lass of Druids, Rangers are never part of the ruling council, but at high level they often act as advisors to the circle.

This section provides the links to the individual Gods - you will note that there are some differences in what the priests are allowed, and how mnay of the higher ranking Druids there are. All this information is given under the priests section, whih you can acess through the individual Gods.

The Gods

Carrin This is the Imperial Goddess of Weather, and just goes to show how far humanity has come away from nature itself, as there is no God that represents Flora or Fauna.
Meilikki Meilikki is the barbaric Goddess of nature from Cherak. Her influence is directly on Flora and Fauna.
Aerdrie Faeyna This is the Elven equivalent to Carrin. Aerdrie governs the Air and Weather.
Rillifane Rallathil Rillifane is the second Elven deity in the Druid Cult. He is the patron of the Grugach (Wld Elves) and the Woods.
Segojan Earthcaller This is the only God in the 'Dwarven' pantheon with any links to Nature. Segojan has particluar links to the earth.
Sheela Peryroyl Halfling Gods often have several spheres of influence and this one governs agriculture, nature and the weather.
Skerrit Skerrit is worshiped by many woodland creatures, but his most prolific worshippers come from the centaur clans.
