Ahto, Hiisi, Ilmatar, Kiputytta, Loviatar, Mielikki, Surma, Tuonetar, Tuoni, Ukko, Untamo
The 'country' of Cherak is really a loosely knit community of Barbarian tribes. They generally only worship a few gods in each tribe, and there are many of these powerful beings. Here are the most common deities of this frozen wasteland, these are based upon the Finnish Gods as prescribed in the 1st edition Legends and Lore.
The Gods
| Ahto | One of the most powerful god of this emerging race of humans. Ahto commands all the waters and seas of the world. |
| Hiisi | This is the God of ultimate Evil in this religion. Those who cross him beware. |
| Ilmatar | Goddess of Mothers. This is the mother of Cheraks greatest hero and so is the patron of all women. |
| Kiputytta | The 'Mother of Plague' guides disease in the world, her heart is black, but is often called upon for healing. |
| Loviatar | Loviatar is often called the Maiden of Pain because of her joy when inflicting hurt upon others. A goddess that is called upon little, but never forgotten. |
| Mielikki | Not all Cherak gods are evil, and Meilikki is one of the good ones. She has dominion over all nature, and is therefore one of the members of the Druid cult. |
| Surma | Surma is only a demi-god, but he does control the manner in which death occurs. |
| Tuonetar | The wife of Tuoni, Tuonetar helps in the management of the underworld. |
| Tuoni | The God of the Underworld. Tuoni, together with his wife Tuonetar, controls the fate of the dead, and will even reclaim raised if he deems it necessary. |
| Ukko | Ukko represents ultimate good in the Cherak mythos. He also governs the weather and air (although he has refused to join the ranks of the Druidic Gods). |
| Untamo | Untamo governs over the mystic influences of sleep and dreams. |
