So just what is Guyendor?
Guyendor is an AD&D world that has been evolving
over 13 years. Until now it's all been on scraps of paper in a folder,
but I have decided it is time to organise my world and to let others try
some of the things in it.
What's in here for you?
At the moment I have two main areas developed:
The first is the Elven
History, this helps to detail out the beginning of the world and also
incorporated a prophesy, use as you wish.
The second is a points based magic
system based on a system developed by Guy Bowers from Devon (Guy if
you ever see this tell me what you think!)
Although you may have noticed that the religion
area is now being developed. Much of this has been lifted out of the 1st
edition manuals, but I don't possess any of the handbooks or the skills
and powers and have developed individual priests skills to fit in with
Guyendor.
What's in it for me?
I'm doing this for fun really, but I would like
feed back on either the sites' design or any part of the world that you've
tried. If you have any comments then place them on my comments
page.
Credits
The play testers of my campaign: Karen Oxley,
Bam Davies, Jim Groom, Gavin Mortimer, Ellena Ball, Darren Foxall-Reilly,
Andrew Sheppeck, Mark Goodwin, & Dave 'The Hat'.
Guy Bowers for the ideas that inspired my own
magic system.
Some of the resources are lifted directly out
of the AD&D manuals, Dragon or Dungeon Magazines by TSR (Now Wizards
of the Coast).
Various names, and languages, are a direct result
of Tolkiens Lord of the Rings.
And of course all of you who are testing various
bits and making suggestions for improvement.
Thanks
Guy
