Parma en Serke, The Lay of the Valheru

The Lay of the Valheru

As the sun sank,
It seeped an orange glow,
Filling the Land,
With unfathomable woe.

The women weeped,
As their menfolk lay dead,
Upon the soil,
that had beome their bed.

The noble ones,
That in long ages past,
Fortold this thing,
That had now come to pass.

The new born race,
That had once been blessed,
In the worlds creche,
Were now loathed and cursed.

A soul encased,
In all that remains,
Of that proud race,
From the ruling domains.

That were given,
By deities, lords of all,
Forever banished,
Within mighty halls.

A chosen one,
Of little known daring,
Will overcome,
Those of great bearing.

To free the new,
From the errs of the old,
So it must be,
As prophesy foretold.
